Rather than having a traditional morning-after brunch to send off our out of town guests, FI decided that he'd rather host a 4th of July barbecue instead!  We figure that most guests will have the Monday following the holiday off of work and might make a long weekend of the wedding trip - so why not celebrate the holiday and our newlywed status all day before we leave for the honeymoon?

Because it's all FI's idea, the barbecue has become known as "the groom's wedding."  We'll be having it in a brand-new pavillion at the local park near a waterfall and plan to have all sorts of picnic activities and games.  We'll also be grilling all kinds of picnic foods and will have all sorts of beverages available to guests, including FI's favorite Great Lakes Brewing Company beer. 

We hope it will be a wonderful way for us to spend some extra time with our guests before they (and we!) leave town after the wedding weekend!
